DAVE is an experienced public relations professional, who joined Boro in 1994 and has led the club's communications team since 1997.

A member of the Institute of Public Relations, Dave leads a department responsible for all communications with the club's supporters and the general public, liaison with the media and publications.

A lifelong Boro fan, he formerly worked within ICI's internal communications team and won several industrial journalism awards.

He won the Programme of the Year award during his first season with Boro and has worked on several official books, including Doom to Boom, The Boro Alphabet, Yer Jokin' Aren't Yer! And Who's that Team They Call the Boro?

In his spare-time, he also collaborated with Bernie Slaven and the late Willie Maddren on their biographies. Married to Bernadette, they have two daughters.
