IT has been confirmed today that Mido will be ineligible to face Boro when Wigan travel to the Riverside, while Marlon King will also sit out the game.

There had been some speculation as to whether both players could indeed line up against their current employers on February 21.

But Premier League rules state that neither striker will be allowed to take part in the fixture.

However, Marlon King is eligible to play against Hull City at the Riverside on April 11.

The Jamaican international scored five times in 20 appearances for the Tigers earlier this season, but will be available to face Phil Brown's team.
