GOLDEN Gloves winner Danny Coyne is relishing his new career at Boro, he tells matchday magazine REDSQUARE.

The Welsh international keeper kept 20 clean sheets for Tranmere Rovers last season and has started off with another three for his new club.

"This is a Premier League club in the wrong division at the moment and when an opportunity like this comes along you grab it with both hands," says Coyne, who went straight into the Boro side after Brad Jones picked up an ankle injury.

"It's worked out really well for me. I've just moved into a house in Hurworth close to the training ground and I couldn't feel more settled."

The programme for the visit of Doncaster Rovers also contains interviews with former Rovers loanee David Wheater and Jonathan Grounds, who is determined to stay ahead of left-back rivals Andrew Taylor and Joe Bennett.

And former Boro keeper Ben Roberts, who played in the 1997 FA Cup final against Chelsea, talks about losing an unwanted record of conceding the fastest goal in the competition's history.

REDSQUARE is packed with all the usual features and stunning pictures that make it one of the best reads in the Championship.

It's on sale at £3 from selected newsagents and at the Riverside.
