INJURED
Jeremie Aliadiere: Broken toe sustained during the first half at Cardiff. He is expected to be out for six weeks from March 8.
Willo Flood: Awaiting assessment of a knee injury picked up in the first half at Cardiff. Boro's medical staff expect to hear more later in the week.
Scott McDonald: Visited a specialist on Thursday February 24 as he has continuing problems following hernia surgery. He has had an injection in the affected area and it is hoped he will return to training later this week.
Emanuel Pogatetz: Sustained a knee injury during the QPR game and was not involved as Austria beat Denmark 2-1 on Wednesday night or in Boro's defeat at Cardiff.
Chris Riggott: Back training after suffering a hamstring injury against Swansea. Was an unused squad member at Cardiff.
Tony McMahon: Stress fracture in right foot.
Seb Hines: Ankle and medial knee ligament injury in Reserves game on Tuesday December 15. First operation in Darlington on Saturday December 19 to stabilise the ankle, with review after six-to-eight weeks and possibility of further surgery.
Matthew Bates: Tore anterior cruciate ligament in pre-season friendly against Carlisle on July 25. Underwent operation on September 2. Expected to be out for six to nine months and does not expect to play this season.

Kyle Naughton: From Tottenham Hotspur until the end of June.
Stephen McManus: From Celtic to the end of June.
OUT
Jason Steele: To Northampton Town for 28 days from Saturday February 27.
Josh Walker: To Rotherham United for 28 days from Saturday February 27.
Didier Digard: To Nice until June 30.
Mido: To West Ham United for four months from February 1.
John Johnson: To Northampton Town for the remainder of the season.
