INJURED

Gary O'Neil: Has had an injection for a knee problem last in August and will wait ten days for it to settle before further assessment.

Seb Hines: Suffered a small stress lesion in his ankle in a reserve game on August 17.

Kevin Thomson: Has his leg in an air cast after suffering an undisplaced fracture of the fibula against Leicester City on August 14. He is expected to be out for about two months but will begin mobilisation work after two-to-three weeks.

Jonathan Franks: Needs operation for herniated disc and will be out for around three months afterwards.

Willo Flood: Recuperating following reconstructive surgery to his medial patella femeral ligament after suffering a dislocation against Ipswich Town on August 7. Faces several months out.

Tony McMahon: Has returned to training after picking up a slight thigh injury in reserve friendly against Billingham Synthonia on August 2.

Rhys Williams: Undergoing extensive rehabilitation under the supervision of world-renowned physiotherapist Anthony Hogan, who specialises in pelvic problems. Will be reviewed towards the end of September but not expected to return until Christmas at the earliest.
